“You know about Botox® for wrinkle reduction, but there’s so much more to the story. “Tox” belongs to a class known as neuromodulators, and I use three distinct products, Xeomin®, Dysport® and Botox®. Each has its own best uses depending on the patient and treatment area.

It’s important to remember that there’s a real artistry to the application of “tox”. , The best results are the most natural looking ones. You’ll always be happier with the results from an injector intimately familiar with the intricacies of facial anatomy and your unique facial expressions: it’s the only way to be sure you’ll see the results you want without that frozen or stunned look!

My patients love their results.

Neuromodulators, aka “tox”

Neuromodulator injections are the #1 aesthetic procedure in the world. Patients can elect to have these treatments for many reasons, but the most common is wrinkle reduction.

The products I use are Xeomin®, Dysport® and Botox®. They are all FDA-approved medications injected into the muscles associated with facial expressions like frowning, smiling, or laughing in order to reduce wrinkles caused by these muscle movements. Dosing is strategic, and based on your muscle mass and strength in the area of concern.

These medications also have numerous highly-effective off-label uses. Some of these include treatment for prominent neck bands, chin dimples, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), and jawline slimming, just to name a few.

  • The most popular medical aesthetic procedure in the world.

  • Fantastic for strategically reducing fine-lines and wrinkles.

  • Popular for “future proofing” your face: minimizes repetitive motion in areas prone to lines.

  • A host of effective off-label uses, including jawline slimming, minimizing excessive sweating, and reducing neck bands.

Why get your tox with The Skin RN?

The short answer is: I don’t treat with cookie-cutter doses—every patient gets tailored dosing and custom placement —because everyone’s anatomy is different. The musculature in the forehead alone is so intricate and varied that a one-size-fits-all treatment can never give optimal results.

And just as importantly, I’ve honed my skill over years, learning with hundreds of patients and training alongside some of the best injectors in the world.

Tox FAQ:

I’ve never had tox before? What’s the experience like?

Treatments are quick and low-pain. Most treatments take approximately 15 minutes, and then you’re on your way. The risk of bruising is minimal for most patients.

When will I notice results?

Results vary depending on treatment area, but some patients can see a noticeable improvement in their frown lines between 48 and 72 hours, with the full effect occurring within 8 to 10 days. Results typically last for to 3-4 months on average.

Will I need to continue these treatments forever?

There’s no harm in discontinuing tox treatments if you decide they’re not for you. Still, most patients make them a regular part of their anti-aging routine by scheduling and every 3 to 4 months.

“Tox” has been a revolution in wrinkle-reduction, but it’s only made better in tandem with other therapies that target lines, wrinkles and laxity and stimulate collagen production.
